Bring your own floatie and join the fun!

A fun-filled floatie extravaganza for swimmers young and old, novice to experienced. Bring your favourite floatie and swim to Sybil the Swan and back.  Held in the safety of Matilda Bay before all other events, the 250m Floatie Festival is an opportunity for parents to swim with younger children, seasoned swimmers to have a bit of fun before the main event, and open water newbies to give swimming in the river a crack without any pressure with the security of a floatie friend.  There will be a prize for the best dressed so don’t hold back on the floatie flamboyance. There will be no prizes for placegetters and we encourage participants to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the event.
