SWIM THRU PERTH 2020

The Swim Thru Perth is over for another year and we would like to thank and
congratulate all those who took part, especially in the challenging conditions on the day.

We also thank all our wonderful Sponsors who made this event possible.

Setting the course this morning threw up some challenges and we appreciated
your patience and tolerance as we worked around those issues.
We're also aware that the two circuit course swims, the Channel 7 800m Splash
and the Telethon Speech & Hearing 1.6km Classic, were longer than they should have been.
We apologise that we are unable to provide accurate course distances for these events,
but we do know that the outward leg took a lot longer than the inward leg
due to the prevailing winds and strong current.

On the positive side, we hope for those of you who swam further than you intended
that this has given you confidence in your swimming ability as the conditions were far from easy.
